Royal, IBM, Oliver, and several custom mods.  These go up for sale on this site often and can also be purchased from Kasbah Modern for more money.  Cool to look at if nothing else.

I think the endorsement on the product page has me beat by far:

"I love typewriters. I love the tactile experience of writing with truly obsolete technology. In these days of scatter-brain thinking and an obsession with Control V and Control C, the typewriter gives me equal parts freedom AND discipline."

Do they have Olivetti Valentine? I am not going to create an account to find out. I've been wanting one, or similar model Olivetti but ones on ebay are usually either broken or well beyond what I am willing to pay. Looking to update from my 1927 Underwood...

They do, or have in the past...  Here is the company's site: http://kasbahmod.com/
I've been eyeing them for a while, and can say that they have more simply restored models now than they used to.  They used to only have tricked out versions (nickle/gold plated, frank gary-style art all over them).

Hey... they have my EXACT 1920's Underwood 4 bank. Mine does not have the red paint mod, of course. Maybe I will just take mine apart, and take it down to the autobody shop and have it painted and save myself a few hundred by NOT buying a Valentine.
