Custom Tables/Desks

Any other custom table/desk builders out there?  My roommate and I made this table from scratch.

If you count how much the beer would cost, the full table cost approximately $4500 to build.  Sadly, that's only 1/3 of the total caps over a 5 year period of college.  Lone Star Pride!

Well on the plus side you will probably be well preserved when you pass on.
I do think you are missing some legs though. Not quite sure, as I don't know how tall you are.

I like that idea, very bar-esque. Looks quite fun too.
I have a couple of older tables that I made for home use and I have a couple more that I have been working on for a very extended period of time. Never enough time in the day, or the week or month or year or lifetime.  =P

You can make a nightstand with the leftovers.  =)

Looks like it's going to be a great setup! Nice! That floor is quite impressively retro.

It's an interesting study of utilization of space for different types of work. I started with executive size desks, but outside of formal offices have since found a 40" deep desk is not typically very usable (with rare exceptions like blueprints). Big fan of wrap-arounds (multiple cockpits), open shelving, everything open and accessible from multiple vantage points. A large, open area for a couple people to review/work on things is important for collaborative times. Looks can be very important too.

Sit/stand and angled work surfaces play an important role.

Yeah the carpet is pretty awesome it has something like 1 inch padding underneath and you can just lay down and sleep on the floor if you want. I opted for two 30 inch sections and two 24 inch sections for depth this was mainly due to what I had planned for the space and 30 was really required for viewing distance with eyefinity.
