Noppoo Choc Mini (Browns) (as is) :(
« on: Sun, 26 February 2012, 19:25:11 »
Hello, I'm selling my Noppoo Choc Mini with browns, [ Attachment Invalid Or Does Not Exist ] 41912[/ATTACH].

It is 7 or 8 months old, in great physical condition, bought new from a man on ebay, but here comes the catch. The keyboard automatically types without me pressing any keys. It seems to be the same type of problem outlined in this thread http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?22189-Does-your-keyboard-go-crazy And I have not been able to fix it. It comes and goes, for whatever reason. I have tested it on other family members computers, and it has not acted up, but that may just be chance. I have tested it on every usb port on my computer to similar results, but I have not tested it over PS/2, because I lost my adapter and doubt it would change the results.

So with that said, I now have to attempt to sell it to you. The keyboard may work perfectly fine on your computer, it worked fine for several hours on 2 different Toshiba laptops, and another home-built desktop, but acted up within 45 minutes on mine. If you are willing to play that lottery and get a near new keyboard for cheap, or think that you can solve the problem, or if you just want it for parts, switches, keycaps or for a doorstop, give me an offer. I don't have a clue what to set a price at, so just PM what you think is reasonable, and figure on 10 dollars to ship it around the US. I'm not opposed to shipping outside the US, but we'll need to most likely up that shipping price. Thanks for looking!

i would just uninstall the USB drivers off the motherboard and download the latest ones off the motherboards website and try again.

if its working on other PCs then its either a motherboard hardware issue or driver conflict.

Just updated, will see how this goes, thank you very much for the suggestion, I had a hard time even finding that thread. So I suppose selling is on hold for a bit.

No, wish it wrote papers for me, but it once hit f10 and N quickly, surrendering a Starcraft match I was winning.

These are signs from God. Take appropriate note. Record everything; actions, characters, outcomes. We are on the verge of something huge here. Don't let us down!

I had similar problems with another USB keyboard, it wouldn't register keypresses when plugged into a certain port on a certain machine. Worked perfectly on all other machines I tried it on, and on every port except that one :p

i would actually really try to get a ps2 adapter as it may clear up if it is a usb motherboard issue or the board itself. maybe you can ask some friends to lend you one.
