If I'm forced to buy new from EK, I would also love to trade the black key set for a white one. If this interests you, let me know and I'll buy the appropriate version (lettered or blank) to trade with you.

I've been stalking the marketplace for one as well. I was eventually able to pick one up for around $250 - a Black with Blank Black keys. I ordered the white printed keys recently since I am also aiming for that look. I've been stalking for white printed keys for a while (or any keys in general), and there only seems to be WTB threads, never FS/FT

I decided to stop wasting time and just bought the keys new.

Before the EK price jumps on them.. used HHKB's seemed more affordable even last year. I would see some HHKB's around $200's or sometimes lower and sometimes those took awhile to sell.

Got mine for under 200 and was glad i got it before the inflation....

I think in europe this price have been the standard price for used HHKB Pro 2 for a long time. When I joined Geekhack Lam was selling his white HHKB Pro 2 with lettering for 180€, this week I bought a black HHKB Pro 2 from Rehal at deskthority for 180€+ 20€ shipped.

1 - Have you noticed the US economy and the US dollar are in the toilet? Could that be the reason? I think it just could be, and, quite possibly, might be.

Thanks! I was able to buy one from a member. Shipping from Canada made the deal more expensive than I was hoping for, but still significantly cheaper than buying new from EK.

I was trying to look for a used white set when I was trying to do the same thing... bit the bullet and just bought it new from EK since I was buying something else and saved on shipping at least.
