Edit --- Sold out

I wanted to try a Naga, and found an 'Open Box' one for cheap. Newegg is pretty shady with Open Box (they just make sure it turns on - IF that), but I felt like taking a gamble. Worse case, I pay $5-10 to return it.

There are known firmwire issues that plague this device. Razer is/was suppose to release a fix. I am hoping thats why these were returned.

I've spent a decent amount of time in the past playing wow and I play a ton of TOR when it came out. That being said I tried this mouse (the non TOR version) back when I was into wow and i hated it...just too many buttons for ONE figure to use. Granted I much prefer using keyboard macros.

Interesting ~ what class did you play when you played WoW? I actually don't even game anymore (I like to collect gaming equipment as an illusion that I actually play), but I played a lot of WoW as well back in the day. I was a mage - and I used the Nostromo N52 for my hotkey needs. Maybe I didn't use it effectively, but I literally had so many actions that my N52 could not handle (it has 15 keys - 14 were easily assessable, with one dedicated as a modifier - which means I had 26 unique actions mapped) all of them. I could play well, but I never had ALL my desired actions mapped. I though that it would be great to dedicate 'consumables' to this mouse to separate out some of the actions.

I am actually more concerned about the fact that I am a claw gripper O.O;;

i've used the mouse too. don't be fooled by all the thumb buttons. that's just a marketing gimmick. there's no way you will be able to actively use all the thumb buttons buttons. the real number of buttons depends on what button you rest your thumb on. my thumb rested on the 2, so i really only ended up being able to use 4 buttons 1,2,3,5. all the other buttons you won't be able to find quickly since they're not in natural locations. at most there are 5 thumb buttons (if you rest your thumb on the 5 or the 8).

most gaming mice have two side buttons, so you're really only getting 1 or 2 extra buttons depending on how the mouse fits you.

Feral druid with the best name ever: Fauxpaw

I was mainly PvE but maybe 20% of my time I pvp'd. Last time i really played was when my guild downed the lich king on 25 man and then everyone quit until the expansion came out, haha.

I've always used Logitech Mx510/Mx518 and now a G400. I mainly played a ton of competitive CS and the logitech laser mice couldn't keep up with fast movement at low sensitivity.

Lost the gamble, lol. Mouse is DoA. Emailed Razer to see what they say. In terms of form ~ it seems like a pretty good fit for my hands. I can comfortably click 1-9, and can't really use the middle two buttons.
