I have gotten a couple of really nice light little mini keyboards. They are old new stock (refer to Windows 95 and one has a 3.5" floppy inside) with PS2 connectors. Both are beige.

The ACK-595 is a straight keyboard, and the ACK-540 has a built-in track pad. The 540 is clearly from an earlier time, and the trackpad has a serial connector! I will supply a serial-to-PS2 connector with it.

They have been tested on my modern box and work fine. The keys press a little plunger-like affair to activate the domes, which are small and cylindrical with domed tops, as far as I can see. I have not taken it apart or gone any farther than pulling a keycap.

I will sell the ACK-595 without trackpad for $20 shipped CONUS, and the ACK-540 with trackpad for $25 shipped. If you are international, please contact me, it will probably be about $12-15 more.

Will also consider trade for MX compatible keycaps, doubleshot or PBT, compatible with Filco or Leopold.

Bump.

Over 100 people have looked at this in less than 5 hours.

These are really nice little boards with handsome keys, lasered I am pretty sure. My only complaint is that with my large, clumsy fingers, they are a bit small. However that could be considered an advantage as well. And < 100 grams! (if calculated from my F-122, the one with pad is a 50% and without is a 33%)

I have one of these to keep for myself already. I am going to stick it in my laptop bag "just in case" and I am sure that I will use it, sometime.

If you think that my price is high, I will figure $10 for the straight board and $15 for the one with the pad, plus actual shipping cost, and if you overpaid, I will refund the difference.

In my opinion, UPS is best for the Eastern US, USPS Priority for the balance of the lower 48, and USPS first class for the rest of the world.
