Okay, so I've got my first mechanical keyboard just recently - the Ducky Shine with MX Browns.
I like the feel of typing on the switches and it seems to be a really nice keyboard in most ways, but I think I'll find it hard to get used to using a US layout, especially as I'll always have to use UK layout keyboards elsewhere. The only thing that I'm not good at so far is typing without bottoming out on the keys every time. The people I've spoken to have said that I should be good for up to 120WPM or so whilst still bottoming out, and I can't type over about 80-90WPM at the moment anyway, so I'm okay with that. I figure that it probably would be easier to type without bottoming out on MX Blues due to the higher actuation force, but I think people would get annoyed at the noise of them.

So I'm thinking sell the Ducky and get something else with MX Browns for a similar price, but with a UK layout. A lot of people have recommended Filcos, but I'm just wondering if there's anything else I should consider getting instead. I quite like the look of PBT keycaps as well due to them not shining as quickly and having a rougher surface, but I don't think they're going to be realistic price wise at the moment if I'm switching to a UK layout.
So basically, what I'm looking for:
Full sized keyboard with UK layout
MX Brown switches (or something similar if you'd suggest it)
Simple, black design preferred, don't want backlights
Budget is probably no more than £150, but that could be a stretch
The only thing that I don't really like about the Filcos is that you get no extra controls at all - this keyboard only has 4 extra buttons, but it gives me almost 20 extra functions by using the Fn key etc.
Basically, should I just go for a Filco or are there other keyboards that should be taken into consideration?
