Question about modding Ergo-Clears
« on: Wed, 14 March 2012, 20:04:25 »
Hearing great things about ergo-clears, and now I'm curious heh.

So, if I bought a bunch of clear stems and used the plate-mounted switch swapping method (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HysRQnJiupQ thanks litster) on my WASD board with blues, it'll work right? Assuming I did everything right without breaking stuff it should still be in good shape and won't mess with the quality? Also I'm aware it voids the warranty. Thanks!

p.s. does anyone possibly have clear stems for sale? (enough for a full-sized board)

That method requires that the KB has that style plate.  Phantom is the only board with that plate and so far only 1 or 2 people have Phantoms so far and those are pre-production units.

Oh yeah, and post in the classified if you want stems, they come and go like the wind.
