I manage to get my hand on a mint cherry ds set(incomplete) that's missing the stepped cap lock and function row.

I'm looking to buy black cherry ds

Stepped caplock
Complete function keys
Printscreen
Scroll lock
Pause/break

That Pause key is odd with bottom oriented, what is above it a line?

It's from a g81 board with a weird layout. It is also the minus key in the numpad.

Yeah it's a line. I believe these are from a G81 not sure what you mean by "odd with bottom oriented" though.

I mean it's odd since it is also a minus key. Normally the text is centered where the minus is, not on the bottom edge.

Doesn't that make it rare? Maybe I should remove the stem then glue it back on and post pictures of it all the time... ;)

Yes it is more rare (only on that particular model I guess?)... whether it's desirable is a different story maybe? I have had loads of different sets of doubleshots and never had one like that. I guess I never had whatever model it was from. I am a collector of Cherry stuff, but even I don't care particularly, was just curious.
Only if you cut and reglue the stem to make it off center... ;P

The rarity thing is just a little :fencing: with The_Ed. I have no idea if it's rare or not. My set is on a Poker so I don't really need these keys right now.

Heres the board.

My second set came today. The spacebar says >PBT< on the underside, too bad it's got the wrong stem placement. Did you notice if yours says this too?

Ha. That was one I told a lot of people to get as the best deal last week... I didn't pay much attention to the numpad but wondered what warranted a different model number. So that and the 00 key and moving the . to where the plus usually is and the plus to where minus usually is on 1800. Seems somewhat pointless.
The space bar mold on 6unit all says pbt, I think they just made the one mold for that size but still use abs unless the rest of the set is pbt. I've noticed all the other abs spacebar molds say 2, and the pom say 1.

Yah mine does say pbt didn't see that. And it has a 2 on it. Bummer about the stem placement didn't even notice that. I hadn't tried to put it on yet. But I did like the texture better on the cherry version.

Meta did you get your second one off of ebay? I'm really tempted to get another its hard to find blacks without shine on them. Hey would you mind posting the pic of your poker with these on it?
