Hi, today I had a really great find!!!

It is a brand new keyboard from the German company Loewe - model "TBT 04 S".
It is ultra heavy built with platemounted clicky Cherry MX switches.
The standard keys have white clicky switches, the space bar a grey clicky switch and the RESET key has a kind of blue clicky switch I never saw or felt before!
It is ULTRA hard to press!!! I do not have enough coins here to do a precise test, but the weight of my digicam (265g) didn't even move the switch a mm!
All switches are plate mounted and enter and space have plate mounted stabilizers.
Whether the caps are PBT, ABS or something alse I can not define. They are not double shots but the labels have a nice contrast.

Enough talking, here are some first pictures:

Wow, look at the CTRL/tab swap, the purely vertical enter, the "sp" bey, etc. Very interesting. I would suspect the keycaps are ABS. Do you have any acetone?

Looks like flat profile, too. crazy.

Wow, look at the number row.

Cool, Cherry MX White(not Clear). An EOLed clicky switch which no much keyboard documented having it.

Oh wait, do you mean that the Cherry Blue isn't normal/typical cherry blue? And also it is a Clicky Grey switch? It is certainly a great find.

BTW, 250g and a switch doesn't even move 1mm? If only individual/single switch exhibit such behaviours, I suggest that the particular switch is faulty, LOL...

Well it is the Reset key, if that sends the reset/restart signal to the computer I wouldn't want to press that by accident.

But why use a Cherry MX switch instead of other button switch?

The ultra heavy switch is the one with the blue stem used in the reset key. I will take a coin measurement if I find enough coins! ;-)
I also have the manual of this board. ;-)

Just three fast photos from the manual made with my smartphone:
The manual shows 3 more layers - have to check if they are hardcoded or just some software stuff on a special machine it came with...

Certainly unusual and unique looking. Very retro feel. I do really like the body for some reason. It seems it was designed around some call center use maybe? I couldn't see myself using it as my daily board at all due to the layout, and where is the alt key?
