Good idea!  Just like this, except the colors are reversed:

Show Image

But the kit price would be a lot more expensive, unless it really brings in more orders to lower the overall cost.

Thats just it I think if people understood they could use a black or beige cherry alpha&numbers and this set would go with them, they'd be more likely to purchase one, litster you've got both sets, would an extended dolch moogle look good against black or beige cherries?

I will give those color combos a try tomorrow when I have time, and take some pictures.  I think Dolch mods plus black alpha/numeric would work.  Not sure about Dolch mods plus white alpha/numeric though.

All I have to say so far is that this GB is epic.

If you need any help hashbaz, let us know :). But it seems like you have everything under control. So excited for these!

The work I put in up front to automate things has been paying off nicely.  The time and effort burden of taking orders and keeping the thread updated has been waaaay less than my RGBY buy (and less error-prone to boot).  Any future group buy organizer that doesn't use Google form+spreadsheet (or something similar) for ordering is nuts.

No, these are neither Cherry mold or Filco mold. While they are closest to Cherry in form they are slightly off in some respects. They will not, however, look very close to Filco while in comparison to Cherry they aren't bad.
I like my Browns more than my Blues.

They are neither but they are closer to cherry than filco.

What do you mean exactly? These are Signature Plastics DCS-family keycaps, which are closer to the Cherry keys in profile than to the stock Filco/Leopold keys, but are not as thick as the actual vintage Cherry keycaps. They are primarily meant to replace the Cherry keycaps that are not compatible with Filco/Leopold-ish modern boards.

Still rooting for stepped caps! Don't you guys with filcos hate the flat caps getting in the way when typing the letter A? :becky: They are finally getting reasonable and a few more they will be a deal!

Here they are.  The dark gray is close to black but not quite.  I like it with black Cherry doubleshots more than with white.  But both look pretty good.

Oops, forgot the Esc key.
