Not everyone gets one, it's kind of like the price of CCs (demand and rarity).

Are you serious? I got a beta invite after taking the survey NP, I doubt anyone would part with a CC (aka pay 30-??$ for the invites)

Anyway, I don't think it has that much to do with specs because I got in on an old ass MBP. More how you answered the questions and there are lots of resources on how to do that.

Reread my post, I said for the 2 invites. And yes, the keys are still worth a good amount of money.

CS:GO keys are worth twice more too, they are selling for 50-70 bucks.

I think the invitation process depends on how well your computer can run the game, so the more beast your computer is, the higher chances of you getting picked.

I got one because I wanted to play it, and I played it but wasn't impressed. So i went back to league. Then a few months after I got my kill they sent me two invites for free, and they've just been sitting in my account.

Dota2 kind of overhyped tbh.

You should probably write a lengthy letter to Valve and tell them to give beta keys to all those deserving people.

We get them handed out by Valve. Please try not to rage at something you have absolutely no idea about.

That's quite the opposite for me..

Althought I understand that the game is hard. Last-hitting is more important, denying, rune control, lots of items, faster gameplay, need to be synched as a team, more "active" items, etc.

Thing is, when I go back to LoL, the game feels so slow it's, but I guess it's personnal preference.
