I paid $10 plus shipping for a board like that to harvest switches from once.  Perhaps look for someone wanting to fix up a Focus or something?

Or if you friend likes those White Alps, but the AT101W and swap the switches.  That will give you a keyboard that will work on modern computers with a battleship size and switches of his/her liking.

Wait, what? What keyboard is that?

Got a full-size photo of it? Really curious, as there aren't a lot of Mac keyboards out there in the first place, and I'd like to see whether this one is hot or not.

Also, a macro shot of the switch would be nice – I can't quite be sure that it isn't XM. It would also be nice to see a switch disassembled sufficient to determine:

a) is it simplified, and
b) if not, is the switch plate long or short (the grey/white block within the switch that houses the electrical switch should ideally reach down to the bottom of the inside – not sure whether any white switches were long switch plate)
