It's a really nice board apart from the branding, the rubber finish and the keycaps. Most of these issues are negligible since most people replace the keycaps that come with a filco.
It comes with media keys via the function layer, removeable USB cable and it is a costar board so it has the same stabalizers, layout and housing.
A good gaming keyboard? Well it sure has keys that are actually much nicer than the logitech stuff which is all cheap rubber dome, the keys actuate halway down so can feel more responsive and there is NKRO via PS/2 and 6 KRO where a lot of the 'gaming keyboards' end up being 2 KRO because they tend to only optimize the matrix around wasd. It also provides comfort in that there is no numpad so you have more room on your desk and your mouse arm gets to be more inline with your shoulders.
So what it lacks?
Macro keys, not something I miss but some people love to either automate mundane stuff or cheat.
Backlighting, you probably aren't very good at games if you have to look at your keyboard while playing.
Weird funky layout + LCD screen, LCD screens are nice for seeing whos speaking on vent, then again so are second monitors and well no one needs a weird layout.
BUT IT'S so CHEAP!
Yes it is and if you are in the market for a keyboard that makes typing a dream and can live with a clicky lego plastic sound(MX blues are grey case, otherwise there are mx reds which are black and are linear switches (see ripster's wiki) and want to never feel the mush of rubber domes again you should buy it...As an ex G11 owner I will never touch a 'gaming' keyboard unless it is a very good mechanical.
That said any gaming keyboard WILL NOT make you better at games it MAY make the experience more enjoyable though.
Enjoy...
