Kickin' it in the East Bay!

en route to Silat

As far as the switch weighting goes my preference is by far 45 and then 55. I didn't really like the lower weighted switches and thought they felt too mushy and much less tactile.

I'll take the keypad with me to New Belgium Brewery here in Fort Collins :)

for the people who don't know what that is it is the brewery that makes Fat Tire.

May I recommend that an email is sent to the sender of the Topre Teaser from the receiver when it arrives?
And Nath did you find the present in the package?

Yes I did and thank you for the pin.  It's pretty cool.

Also I am waiting on Lmnr to message me back with his first and last name so I can ship it out to him.  Sorry about the hold up.

Here's the Topre Tester hanging out with a new Filco Ninja TKL (mx reds).

My impressions of Topres...Holy hell they are some heavy switches.  Every single switch felt heavier than a cherry mx red switch, this is even true for the 30g topre switch.  55g topres were my favorite though it felt almost sluggish.  Maybe the bounce back of the switch after actuation is slower than a cherry switch?  Topres are suprisingly mushy, very analgous to rubber domes.  Cherry switches are still my favorite switch.

The Tester has been mailed off to the Number J.

The three I use the most are the red Leopold, the blue Rosewill, and the Realforce.

I just got a 45g 87U, and I expect it will largely replace my variable 86U.

Do you prefer the reds to the blues?

Not really, no.  I like both of them a lot.  If I really had to choose just one favorite switch it would probably be blues.

I think someone must have put a USPS curse on the topre tester.

I think so too -_-. Somehow the number that I ended up getting isn't even in a valid tracking number format...
