Are you sure on the browns?  The description I just read on that page doesn't call out a specific switch.

Straight from the page OP posted:

"Mechanical CHERRY MX switches: CHERRY Black / Blue/ Brown/ Red NKRO in USB mode: 6/Full N Key Multimedia shortcuts 1000Hz/1ms response time Windows key disabled in game mode Partial Red LED backlight (WASD + QERZXC + 12345 + F1 F2 F3 F4 + Arrow Keys+ Esc + Spacebar) Removable 1.8m braided USB cable with cable routing"

Uh yup, which is exactly what I said 'doesn't call out a specific switch', that's just a list of switches and no indication which one that listing is for.  His response (below) however is a decent reason to expect brown switches.

It's a good price for a backlit keyboard... but if I were to get a backlit keyboard, i'd go for a ducky shine or a KBT pure/race, so that I wouldnt have to deal with the ugly looking case.

The partial backlit is what boggles me... If you're going to go that far, why not all the way?

CMStorm does have a fully backlit keyboard, it is called the Trigger.  It is not yet availabe in the US.

P.s. Why don't they build keyboards with MX Clears?

The trigger looks like ****, I like the look of this one a little better, wish it was fully backlit.  Hmm, looks like the switches that are not backlit still have translucent caps?  I may be wrong

That would be interesting.  I wonder how this would look with Group 4 caps with the light glow behind the keys?

I only have the two rapids, but the design is as follows from best to worst:
Rapid (red) > Rapid (not red) > pro > trigger

I'd completely put uf with the half-backlighting of the pro, as it's much better than the trigger, looks wise.

As far as half-backlit, I prefer symmetry, but I rather like the thought: It'd greatly help you find your hand to the keyboard during a dark night of gaming.

It is an interesting concept. Partial backlit, lower price.  The keyboard is aimed at gamers, light the keys gamers use most, keep the cost down by having much less LEDs to light.  WINNING?

You are correct.  This is probably just for a unified look and it's probably the same keycaps as the Trigger.  But if you want to go all out and add an LED switch under each keycap, I guess it's possible.
