Why are people not all over this? $45 shipped? Is it a piece of crap or there's just no interest in Ducky's?

tigerimport selling for 53 + 10SH to CONUS

IF you add 10 more on top of that, you can easily get a cherry MX?

It looks like you can choose between Chinese and English on the keycaps, or at least that's what I'm assuming the dropdown is for. Can anyone confirm that the "Chinese" option would be a standard ANSI board, but with Chinese legends? I don't know Chinese, but I feel like it would be more interesting to have those keycaps.

You definitely shouldn't get one of these expecting something like a Cherry MX board, but they should be clicky and fun.

Edit: I just ordered one with Chinese lettering. I'm interested to see how the green XM switches compare to the white XMs in my MiniTouch.

Opinion follows:

Great switch in my honest opinion (I know I have plugged this before), but don't expect a Filco or Leopold when getting this.  Like everything in life you get what you pay for, I use mine everyday and enjoy it very much.

As such this keyboard doesn't quite full fill the market at this price point entirely.  I suspect this would be more popular if they could make it with Cherry MX keys, but that probably isn't possible as of yet.

I'm riding a 1008XM right now, purchased at full price.  It's a decent board on its own accord-- good layout, removable cable, feels solid-- but if you're expecting it to sound and feel like a Focus 2001 or Northgate Omnikey, you'll be let down.

For the money, I can't reccomend it highly enough.  I like it better than the other cheap ALPS boards due to layout.  If only I could be bothered to swap switches...

Placed my order for a 1087 with Chinese keycaps from PChome on the 6th, received it today. $10 shipping from China, and receive it in a week? Not bad!

I used the keyboard all afternoon, and I have to say I really like it. It's no Filco, but I have no problem with the build quality. The keycaps have a nice textured feel to them. I normally use black Cherry MX switches, but I have to say I do like these green XM's. Very comfortable to type on, if somewhat loud. Also, I think the Chinese legends on the keycaps give it a unique look for a keyboard being used here in the US.

Overall, a great experience -- from purchase to shipping time to actual use. I would definitely recommend this keyboard to someone wanting a budget mechanical, or who just wants to upgrade from their crappy rubber dome board.

How can you beat a TKL mechanical board for $43.89 shipped to your door?

When you place your order are you given the option to have the product shipped to a different address other than billing?

I had mine sent to my P.O. Box, but my billing address is different. No problems for me.
