Cherry Profile Spacebar (Leopold Modded), misc. Cherry DS, Poker

Looking for some misc. things...

• Cherry Profile Spacebar modded to fit Leopolds (Black, White, Grey) - I know TheProfosist can make them, but it takes him a while because he's still working on mine
  
• Cherry DS (White on Black) F3, F4, Delete (lower profile) and Enter keys - in above average condition, no shiny
  
• KBC Poker with Cherry Reds, Blues or Browns - used or new condition.  Not interested in Cherry Blacks (no racist)

Depends. If its a 200R, SPs spacebar is close enough to Cherry profile. Its a 700R, no.

I got a DCS spacebar and a Cherry profile set, and I feel like the OEM spacebar that came with my Leopold actually fits better. The DCS is too aggressively pointed up toward my thumbs.

What if I wanted to mod a Cherry profile spacebar to accommodate the Leopold FC200R mounts? Does anybody on this forum provide "services" like that? Do Leopold-compatible spacebars in Cherry profile just not exist anywhere?

First, try turning it around and see how it feels then. Maybe you might like the feel, though it's not as pretty. Then, if you're still looking to do the mod, do a search for stem modding. Here is a couple things to get you started: http://imgur.com/a/3mWPe , http://i.imgur.com/ppMyt.jpg

If you're hoping to find someone to mod it for you, you MIGHT have to get 60 posts under your belt and start a WTB thread in the classifieds. You could also possibly drop into the IRC and see if someone there might be willing to help you out. Of course, you'd have to find a 6.25x white Cherry spacebar, and that won't be easy to do.

Other than that, you might consider a colored aluminum spacebar. http://www.ebay.com/sch/geek_feng/m.html Check here. He has some 6.25x Cherry profile aluminum spacebars. For instance, if your set had red legends, maybe a red spacebar might go good with it.

Thanks for the tips. I'm new to this, obviously, and I don't think I understand what a 6.25 spacebar is, other than that it's what I need for a FC200R. The Cherry profile spacebar I got in Ivan's recent group buy seems only a couple millimeters shorter than the two spacebars I have for my Leopold.

The number #x is the number of times a cap is bigger than a regular alphanumeric cap. For instance, the X cap. That is considered 1x. So a 6.25x spacebar is literally 6.25 times a regular cap.

The Cherry profile spacebar you got in the PBT GB is considered 6.25x.

Anyway, so I see where our mixup was. You said white Cherry spacebar, so I took that as you wanting a white spacebar MADE BY Cherry. When, in reality, you meant 6.25x white Cherry PROFILE spacebar. The omission of a word sets us back just a bit. But no worries. We'll get you all squared away now.

So, you bought a set of what we call IMSTO PBT caps. They come with a 6.25x Cherry profile spacebar. The problem is you have a Leopold. Leopold hates regular spacebar stabilizer spacing. They created the FC200R and moved the spacing. We countered with what was called a Universal spacebar. This had spacing for the Leopold FC200R spacebar. It was the spacebar made by SP that I first suggested to you. Of course, that spacebar, being made by SP (Signature Plastics) is made in SP profile, which you've learned you don't like.

Then, Leopold said "**** you, keyboard enthusiasts" and created the FC700R with even different spacebar stabilizer spacing. This is more FYI than anything, as you have a 200R.

Thus, this leads us to this scenario: you WANT a Cherry PROFILE 6.25x spacebar to match your IMSTO PBT set placed on your Leopold FC200R. You HAVE a Cherry profile 6.25x spacebar that came with your IMSTO PBT set, BUT it doesn't fit due to not having the correct spacing.

Therefore, you could either mod that spacebar with the options I provided earlier, or you could ask someone to do it for you, by one of the two options above.

There really isn't a spacebar that you could buy that would work right off the bat, match in color, or match in profile or material, sadly.
