Perfect USB keyboard for gaming?

hope I can get answer here. I am quite set on this Logitech Keyboard very impressive in design. just not sure about the speed,enough to play WoD...  Perfect??

Honestly it's all junk you don't actually need and will use 2% of the time...sometimes it makes life easier but at the end of the day this is a keyboard enthusiast site and those are rubber domes which are not usually ever good (there are exceptions) but logitech has never really been that good on that.

I had a g11 (g15 no screen), worst keyboard ever, right shift was messed from the start, keyspacing was awkward comming from a $10 logitech and the macro keys I used for 3 months for 'actual' use e.g. launching apps, performing shortcuts and that type of thing. For gaming like hell i want to move away from wasd to press a silly macro key.

Backlighting is just reenforcing the fact that you don't know where the keys are.

My university has replaced some of those funny looking Dell rubber domes from 2005-2010 with Logitechs. I must say that these things really suck donkey balls - lack of tactility, uneven feel, random friction... I really started to miss these Dells even though they were nothing special.

And why you would want USB, if it is for gaming, get a keyboard that  has or supports a PS/2 connector, as PS/2 is the only connection type that supports NKRO. Near Infinite or (All they Keys) roll over as in all they keys will register while pushed.

As long as you hold mouse with one hand and have only 5 fingers on the other one, >6 KRO is even more useless than macros.

I use G510 before.
I was using ADIA64 to monitoring my GPU & CPU OCing on the lcd screen.
Plus, SirReal, C2DtoG15, countdown clock for instant noodle, song name display, ingame info, ingame binds, internet traffic...etc, just make my geek life more easier.

I'm using my G110 in the office, G-keys, headphone & usb jack helps me alot.
G510 is a very useful tool if you use all the functionality.

If you have a chance, go try some mechanical switches, see if you like it.
I brought my first mechancial keyboard 4 months ago.
I still trying to sacrifice between features & faster, more comfortable keypress response.
Can't tell you is it worth. Cos I still a newbie.

They should sell the screen and possibly macro pad portion of a G15 or similar as a standalone part, but not mess with a quality board.

I recall when you used to see small lcd screens you could mount in a 5.25 bay for the things the G15 screen did.

Hah that is the only thing I miss ^^.

Yeah I hate to say it but logitech key spacing is less than ideal it's always different and always takes people time to get used to..Even Dell keyboards tend to feel the same spacing wise and their newer rubber domes aren't too bad (quite soft).
