its a long shot but two months back unicomp was selling them, but they said they where saving them for a special batch of keyboards

you may be right, but they have explicitly told me that they don't have any SSK covers of any kind for sale :(

I think this was the full size industrial case, I'm pretty sure webwit bought out the entire stock a while back, what they do have are IBM sticker badges which they cannot sell :(

Well he didn't just hoard all of it, he gave/sold a bunch to people on GH and DT. He's out of stock now too though ;(

Skcheng is awesome.  He refurbed and modified my favorite Model F with dental tools.  At dentist rates, I estimate he put $10k labor into it.  It's tempting to encase it in lucite but I keep using it.

EDIT: FWIW They had either 100 @ $30 each or 300 @ $10 each - industrial space saving tops, I can't recall which.  A few people on here bought some, as well as their supply of IBM logo stickers in black.  Then Webwit bought out their stock.
