Zero information on how many was shipped, but at least 2 people got their hands on it.

Anyhow. Finally shipped after over a year of pre-ordering. I've already said my piece on the delay. Executive summary: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Hopefully there won't be any more major roadblock.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. We should wait for all of the pre-order to be delivered first. There is a distinct lack of information right now. Your best bet is to ask Vortex. If you don't want to pester him, just wait. I am sure a lot of people do want these and iMav will probably setup a group buy eventually. If you really don't want to wait, pester some guy who pre-ordered. If that fails, wait for Taobao/qtan/whoever else.

There are still production problems. The number of boards shipped is in the teens (ones that were completed awhile ago). No firm shipping dates for rest of the pre-order. Make your own judgment on the situation.

From what was said, it is mainly getting qued into production and the production of the aluminum case is moving at snail pace.

You're better off asking Vortex. KBT don't have much to do with production of these things, or even selling it as evident by Vortex selling them.

Ya they'e pretty nice box opening pictures. It seems only the early batch have the pink/purple LED, and the rest of them are orange LED (which I like a lot more). I don't really like the LED look. Figures that the LED picture is looked at more times than with PBTs on.

The only thing I dislike in the new orange pure vs the purple, is the backlighting of the Fn layer (such as the entire ctrl + **** + esc on right shift), still bought one though

You assumed incorrectly. Both the purple and the orange has the exact same caps. That Vortex's picture is a prototype printed incorrectly
