I hope you're right iMav, for all our sakes! As always, thank you for all your devotion to keeping this BBS running.
Sorry about the snide comments in the myriad threads where I had expended effort into sharing over the past month, yet found nary a bit of my content extant after the several rollbacks. I was very frustrated to find, yet again, despite promises of stability, another rollback. I have to imagine that all of this has been at least as frustrating to iMav.
For my part, I would suggest that perhaps there could be a stickied thread where we can ALL vent, and share our frustrations in an environment of compassion and sympathy, so as not to pollute the rest of the forum... and maybe an announcement popup that would apprise us of what happened, so we KNOW, rather than finding out unceremoniously by discovering messages/threads gone missing and people polluting threads willy nilly? Just some thoughts. For now, I have vented enough. I hope that geekhack is stable, and that this will all be moot.
