White Leopold TKL keyboard with MX Clears

Elitekeyboards.com just added a White tenkeyless keyboard with Clear switches to their products, if anyone is looking for a board with clears.

Haha, I think there was another post for "there are 10 Leopold TKL MX Clears in stock left at EK" post before that as well.

I would jump on this but I don't know much about MX Clears. I have MX Blues right now, and I kind of want to try/get reds next. I've read that Clears are like a stiffer browns with a bigger tactile bump? Not sure if that's what I want... It'd be cool if I had one of those numpads with all the different switches on them so I can test them out haha.

I've got two keyboards, one with clears and the other with blues, and the blues feel lighter. But I love both, which one I use depends on my mood.

I think it would be hard to tell how any particular switch will feel when typing, with just a few keys on a keypad.  I have a black Leopold with Clears and one each with Browns, Blues and Reds so I've been able to compare the different switches in the same model keyboard.

Like InDignity, I love them all.  Clears are a bit stiff for heavy typing, but I like the way they feel.  CC is right Clears feel about like stiffer Browns.  The spring in Clears is the heavier one like in Blacks, but the bump on the stem is just a bit more pronounced also, so it's just a bit more "tactile" as well as a bit stiffer.  A light spring doesn't make them exactly like browns.  That's why people replace brown (or even red) stems with clear stems keeping the light spring, to make "Ergo-Clears".
