Next question: isn't ragnarok planning on running a red alert set after the portal set?

well if no new offers come in tonight, i'm going to pick one of my existing offers sometime on Saturday

FYI these are the offers I will be picking from, in no particular order:
-blue switch poker in treble's gunmetal aluminum case + some stuff from imsto
-my choice of switch poker in oneproduct's brushed aluminum case
-white-on-black Cherry DS, Wyse DS, & a dark blue CC

Note that i'm not asking or wanting any of these guys to bump up their offers further as all are interesting to me and all are around same sort of value to me.

Thanks,

Wow, did this thread go off topic a lot.

:-/ that seems to happen in most of my classifieds adds for some reason.

I have made my decision and sent the good & bad news out to everyone.

The winner has chosen to remain anonymous for now, until he reveals himself via photo's after they arrive.

Thanks for all the interest

I can see many things wrong with copying the other forums stuff but mainly it's the relationship that we want to keep.  Right now, as you probably may have seen, KBD community is starting to let some of their custom keyboards (namely KMAC) trickle into the US market.  This is a good sign of trust and friendship and if we were to ruin that, by let say copy the Red Alert set, then you can just forget about any future collaborations (not to mention that the new KMAC mini, KMAC pad and the second revision of the KMAC is coming out soon).

Also that Diablo keycaps set (now called Sanctuary) is also another joint venture between members of Geekhack and KBD.  If we were to ruin the relationship by copying one of their keycap set just once, then I'm pretty sure they won't include us in any future designs or group buys.  Think long term instead of just short term. =)

Reaper, I can't find any details on the KMAC mini or KMAC pad.  Do you have a link or info?

Ok, that's embarrassing, this was the first result... http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?29588-KMAC-Mini-amp-KMAC-Pad

Nevermind.
