Looking for [strike]these two guys[/strike] this trackball. Just checking to see if anyone has one they're trying to get rid of before I start hunting elsewhere.

[strike]edit:

I'm now looking for someone from the US who could buy the Logitech one for me from Amazon.com here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006B9CR/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_g147_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1M06T7DNTF3661916Q3P&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846

and then ship it to me in Canada. The cheapest I can get it for in Canada is $80 including shipping and I'm pretty sure it would be quite a bit cheaper to get it forwarded from someone in the US. (has free shipping to the US and shipping something that size to Canada once you take it out of the box would probably cost about $10).[/strike]

I have a microsoft trackball explorer... missing the buttons. (the actual plastic pieces that you put your thumb on, the switches are still there and work. I don't think that is what you are looking for though...

What happened to the buttons? If you're bored could you take a picture? Maybe I could try that Cherry MX switch mouse button mod that some people do.

yup, there is supposed to be a grey thing that comes out of the back of the buttons and screws into the holes behind them, that snapped off, I tried to glue it back on and I had to shave some off to get it to fit, bottom line it doesn't work (just the buttons, the rest is golden)

I think I'll have to pass. I doubt I'd have the skill required to bring it into a more usable state.

this all has gotten me thinking... I probably have the skill, or at least I can't screw it up any more at this point. You have just sent me down a dark road.....

I have prime so I could have it by saturday and then get it shipped out shortly after I receive it. Looks like it's $48.75 on Amazon right now.

Actually, since it's Canada I have to ship it over the counter at USPS which means mostly likely it would go out Monday.
