I think it would be real hard to reach moq for just blank black sets, since you can't dyesub on black. Could maybe to engraved as well. You can attempt it if you wish.

I'm pretty new to Geekhack. Not really aware who moq is or how group buys work. I'm also a pretty poor student. I don't think I could invest in something like that.

moq=minimum order quantity which is 300 sets for this type of keys. I'm sure there was a lot of doubt that this buy would ever get there (well it didn't since imsto was willing to help us out) but I am still amazed this is happening myself to be honest.

I was mostly joking you, but also I have said many times that is how I wanted people to go about it if they wanted more set after they paid initial invoice. It's hard to know if mistake or on purpose, then I don't have to guess which it was. If an error most have had the sense to cancel it themself which is great.
I think my process has been mostly smooth for everyone. I think there is some room for fine tuning for next time though.
I wish there was some way to share the spreadsheet where one could only see and edit thier own data line... that would be amazing.

There is not quite so many orders, only 146 actually once all from the same people are combined, still waiting for the set count but pretty sure it will be around 250. Lot more sets than individual orders which is nice.

I think feng and Qtan sell engraved and blank black PBT keycaps. They also have front and side etched. But those are not thick PBTs or cherry profile like these are.

BTW Lysol, I recommend more color options like green or red on light grey keys next time around. Just a suggestion.

I have a question about a future possible GB relating to this though: is there a capability with who you are running this order through to dyesub more complex art onto the keys? Like Ragnorock's GB at http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=37360.0 but with cherry profile thick PBT caps instead of SP profile thin PBT?

Hey, I might have messed up on the order confirmation  I wanted to add RGB mods to my order so all I did was write "RGB mods" under the box for submitting changes to the order. I already paid for the blue cherry font US-legends, is that all I needed to write to add the mods to my order? Or did I need to write out "Blue Cherry font US-legends w/ RGB mods"? I just don't want to mess it up or make it confusing, sorry for the inconvenience, I should have read the email more carefully before I submitted.

finally caved in from this. guess I've kinda changed from the first time I saw mechkbs. Was into the novelty keys at first, then now I'm into the feel of the keys.

99% sure that production has not started.  I believe Lysol is going through the invoices, collecting payment, and making sure all orders are finalized before he submits the order.

Yes, that's right. I also have 10 unpaid orders and about 2 dozen people that have not made the confirmation. These things need to get done and everything checked again carefully before I send it to production.

  Hi.  Sorry to bug you, but I'm looking to verify something about my confirmation for invoice 0143.

  When I sent this in I made a request to add a new item to my original order, if possible.

  I saw that a plain US black set was also available as "BLACK Cherry-font US legends 1x". So, in my confirmation I asked if one of these could be added to my original order.

  Since I hadn't heard anything after that, I just wanted to make sure nothing got lost in the process.

  Either way is o.k., I was just looking to confirm which way things are going to be.

Please refer to your paypal invoice(s) for your original order(s). If
you need to make changes please use the order form at the end of this
message. Please be sure to account for your entire order in the change
notes, so I am clear what you are keeping and what you want
substituted. If you have more than one invoice, please include all of
them comma seperated. This will help me make sure to include the full
amount of sets in a single package when it comes time to send them
out, and make sure you won't be invoiced more than once for shipping.
Make sure to reply in the form your mailing address. Please be sure
that is is 100% correct as it will be copied directly from the form to
your mailing label. If your country generally uses other than Latin
alphabet for addresses please write it both ways.

Browsed a few pages back and checked OP but couldn't find information on lead time.  After you've submitted the order to imsto, how long are we looking at before production is complete?

2-3 weeks production time. I would like to have them to you by the new year.
I will give 3 more days for ekw808, isccredit, ryanlee0203, hector.santiago2, kenshin318, and fossala to pay their orders, and everyone to make any order changes if you have not. After that I am cancel unpaid invoice and all unconfirmed orders will get what is in their invoice. This needs to be done to get this into production and quit having more delay.
