Poker Any MX

Hi everyone, looking for an MX Brown Poker

Update: Any switch will do!

Based in the UK but willing to pay shipping from anywhere. Seriously. Except maybe Australia, but that's a different story entirely :)
Shipping from the US for a Poker is as little as $18, which will be fine - had many boards shipped to me in the past with no problems so don't be shy!

Hit me with offers

Thanks!

How does a Poker fare against a Pure?

I've owned both the Poker and the Pure, and I like them about equally. If you're used to the function layer on the Poker, you'll have to relearn the key combinations for the Pure function layer. I sold my Poker recently to help another member get a Poker with ghetto Reds, and I received my Pure with Browns right about the same time. The transition for me was an easy one. I just wish the Pure had kept the WASD as cursor arrows on the function layer. I will be getting another Poker with Browns from p.s. when his shipment of them comes in. See thread here. Oh, and the other difference besides the backlighting is the 1.75 right shift on the Pure.

I swapped out switch types several times on my Poker, but I won't be doing that with the Pure. Would require desoldering all the backlighting LEDS in the keyswitches to get the housings apart.

Thanks a lot mate!

Yeah I hope PS has pokers with browns in his next batch! I was reluctant to try a Pure due to the strange left shift making it almost impossible to find good key sets.

Well, you can get a "1800 shift" (1.75-units) with a Tsangan kit in any GB offering those. That will fit the Pure perfectly. If you don't need the other keys in that kit, you can always sell them here. WASDkeyboards.com also sells 1.75-unit R1 keycaps, either blank, or with custom text or artwork. I have a blank red one on my Pure right now!

And p.s. told me that he should be getting Pokers with Browns (only!) around the end of this month.

i now own both a pure and poker... pure is a nicer board.. but the poker has the ability to be modded.
instead of buying different boards with different switches.. i have 1 board with every colour switch which i can swap around on my poker when i feel like it..

for this reason i like the poker more.

depends on what you wana do!
