unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

That 19 has some serious holster wear to the finish. Nice!

Very nice! That's how a proper pistol should look.  Kydex or Leather?

A bit of both. It was my mother's main carry piece for about 10 years while she was in the police force so it's been through a lot, still runs great though. I really love it, if I had to choose just one handgun to own I think I would pick that.

I had a 19, and loved it.  But I fell in love with the Walther PPQ trigger.  Getting some nice wear on it the past few months.

Haven't seen that before, that's great.

Glock triggers are one thing I'm not super fond of. I put a 3.5lb connector in my 17L but the travel is still really long. I suppose that's just part of striker fired mechanisms.

That's what I thought until I tried a friends PPQ... You should dry fire one. Best stock striker fired trigger I've tried on any pistol.

I prefer compact size - about 4" barrel so 4.6" on Accu Shadow is long enough for me. It has short-reset trigger and is supposed to be the most accurate of all CZ pistols.

Those are seriously nice grips. I get so jelly of 1911's. I have a .45 Colt SAA and its so hard to find interesting and nice grips for it. All anyone seems to have is pearl and ivory **** and I aint into that. Does anyone know of a really good grips store online? Other than auction site like armslist etc?

I think I'm gonna put Sig 220 on hold since it's not in stock anyway and go for CZ Accu Shadow first.

Looking good! I really like FDE framed Glocks.

The first IDPA match of the season here was yesterday. I decided to wear my GoPro for it.

Thanks, that's me. Not sure what the deal was with my 17L, it's nice and clean, though I was shooting HSM factory reloads. The G22 I switched to halfway through was super dirty and really dry so that probably contributed to all the hangups.

I have an idea. How about a monthly GH shootout?

- 10 rounds from 15 yards
- Pistol only
- Iron sights only (no laser, no red dot)
- No bench
- No cheating

Submit your best target paper on a certain day of each month. Maybe we'll have a prize too. Of course we'll have to use the same target. I suggest this one.

Well, that day is my son's birthday, so I doubt I'd be able to sneak to the range.  (the nearest is > hour away)  Any reason it has to be the same day, vs in say a week range?
