Looking for my next keyboard
« on: Fri, 22 June 2012, 02:05:35 »
Hi guys! As the title says, I'm looking for my next gaming keyboard. I must say that I'm new to the world of keyboards and don't know much about them, but it seems like the red/black switches are the best for me. Here are the things I'm looking for:

- mechanical
- quiet (or at least not loud)
- easy to press
- audio jack if possible (This is a big thing, and part of the reason why I've been with my Lycosa for so long. My rig is in a bit of an awkward spot, and I dislike USB audio)
- numpad is preferred

That's basically it, I don't need any fancy features. The texture and weight of the keyboard is negligible. I'm willing to pay up to $100, with $130 being my max. If anyone could find a keyboard that's well-suited to me, it would be greatly appreciated! Also, I don't know if it makes any difference, but I mostly play action RTS games (Dota) and shooters.

You could go with the Steelseries 7g or the Blackwidow stealth edition and finally the Thermaltake meka G1. if not you could go with the Coolermaster Quickfire Rapid with reds which are 100$ and they have the same quality as filcos (High end).
