Gonna Plate Mount My Poker.

First off, YAAAAAAAAAAY GEEKHACK IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (lookin' a bit strange however.)
I literally checked twice a day for month! (or however long it's been.)

So Anways, I'm gonna use the old plate mount from my broken RK-9000 on my Poker. I'm wondering if it is even possible. I would hate to desolder everything just to figure out it doesn't work.
I don't think I'll be using the stock case, Im probably gonna make one out of acrylic or something. and I'm going to cut the RK plate mount down to size of course.

I'f your wondering why I'm doing this in the first place, It's because I can't stand the cherry stabilizers. I've also just really been a fan of plate mounted boards. : )

I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as you cut the plate to size (and drilled the screw holes). I was considering doing the same thing for my poker.

It might not work out for all the keys. I don't have a poker to check, but looking at the picture, I don't see why not. The keys look to be all in the same positions as a larger keyboard.

I say: cut out the main area (with extra room, just in case) and compare it with the switches. Any ones that don't want to fit, you can just cut off that section of the plate. IT should sit on top of the keycaps pretty easily.

Just make sure you have enough space for the stabilizers, etc. Especially around the spacebar.
