Hey everyone,
I'm new to the whole mechanical keyboard thing and I've owned a microsoft ergonomic 4000 for a few years now. It takes a bit of getting used to in going back to a standard layout keyboard but the mechanical keys are very worth it. I just bought my first mechanical, max keyboard nighthawk x8 (brown switches), and I don't think I'll ever go back to to the rubber dome keyboards. The feel and response is leagues above a normal keyboard!
This is a pretty cool niche hobby and I'd love to eventually replace my key caps and maybe even do the o-ring mod. I still have a lot to learn!
