I'm kinda new and haven't received one :(

Newness sucks sometimes.

That's a good thought.  Maybe someone here is setting themselves up to make key caps on a (semi-) commercial scale, and is providing samples.

I wouldn't think so since they are doubleshot. The equipment is so expensive, and no matter what we think to ourselves, our orders are negligible and would not be of that much interest to a new manufacturer that they would go and do something like this. My 2c

Have you all just cleared the ones who claims to have gotten caps from all guilt? I think that it may just be one of them, it would be a perfect way to remain innocent.

Checked my mail today, and there was a package from Vancouver, BC for me.  Opened it and a lovely Keycap of Mystery.  I googled the address on the package, and it was a McDonald's.  WTF.

Though, I think I know who it is.

I just purchased some keycaps from him last week.  Inside both separate packages were the same green coloured peanuts.  He probably didn't think I kept the first package, but I did (out of laziness).  :p

Here's a hint:  There's a DAMN good reason why mkawa, demik, and litster haven't received one; and he's probably kicking himself for sending one to somebody else on the list.  :))

I know donations have been discussed before, but I thought about this the other day.  I recently made a donation to GH, and noticed that it defaults to add an address (since it must be charging as something like goods/services versus gift where you don't need an address).  So I'm thinking that whoever handles the donations (iMav probably), is the one's handing these keycaps out.

That would explain how all these addresses are being collected.

Yes, it could be a team: demik, mkawa, ?, ?, ...
Then demik is right when he says "it's not me", for the answer should be "it's {mkawa, demik, ... }".
One of them got a few pounds of these AF key caps, shared some with others and set up the plan.
So, demik, are you one of them ?
mkawa, are you one of them ?
