Weird Qf Rapid Issue
« on: Fri, 20 July 2012, 20:04:20 »
this issue has getting more annoying since trying to play some games lately.

if I double tap on the 'CTRL' the 'capslock' and 'scrollock' LED's will blink back and forth, and the keyboard will not respond to any other key presses till I hit the "ESC' key

when i'm playing games and rapidly pressing buttons it keeps happening in the middle and I KEEP dying!!

anyone else know of this issue and/or know how to disable it? is it a feature of a bug? my other keyboards don't do that.

So doubletapping ctrl messes it up? I gamed on mine for a while, and I do lots of crouching/etc with control, and I never noticed something like that happen. I'll hook it up and test it again here in a sec.

Are you using it via USB or on PS2? Do you have an adaptor? Are you running some software that might get in the way (like sticky keys, accessibility?)

Probably the best question is: How easily can you return or RMA it?

Just tried it with my CM in blues. I was tapping away pretty quick on that control, and it worked great. I also tried double bounces. Maybe using blues for FPS isn't that impossible....

All I need to do is tap twice (double tapping or normal tapping) on any of the CTRL keys and the capslock and Scrolllock LED's will blink in Sync. First the Capslock light blinks then a sec later the Scrollock then 1 sec later the Capslock and so forth.

Its via USB. I can't RMA this one since its one modded with Ghetto Greens. But I had this issue on my original Blue board that I traded for it as well.

No special software running like Sticky Keys either.

I'll have to try it on another system too.

So its not happening on yours at all?
