Thats a pretty epic smash the board could have been packed way better and probably still been ruined. Was the box crushed or what? Thats pretty bent.

The keyboard had a lot of space to be flung around in the box, and the lack of cushioning with a piece of foam, etc. doesn't help. And his bubble wrap was definitely not enough; I don't think bubble wrap is ever enough for something with that much heft to it.
Bubble wrap is fine for a keyboard if you do it well. Qtan ships his keyboards from China with just a decent sized layer of bubble wrap around the exterior of the original keyboard box. He doesn't even put it in a separate box. Just sayin'

It's a good width! If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
