Brand new rice maker today baybee! Huge upgrade over the $20 Rival I've been using for about a decade.

Cooking up my first batch right now. The coolest thing was when I took it out of the package it had a greeting on the led saying HELLO and the correct time already set, before it was even plugged in. Japan really is light years ahead of us.

The beast being held by a member of staff of the shop I'd ordered the card from, it's a big card, betcha it'd be relatively small next to the RTX 4080/4090 with their monstrous coolers. I didn't realize that the MERC 310 share a similar cooling method with the Nitro+ Vapor-X, it has a vapor chamber too....

Yep, this is the best camera I ever had in my life. Second full frame, first one was A7II, then I saved some money and bought this one.
Used of course, would never afford a new one, but it was great deal, only 100 actuations and about 70% price of a new one. I wanted it for its size and weight.
When it comes to lens, I love Voigtlanders for same thing - compactness - tried 4 different ones, but this is first so small and light.
Still getting used to manual focus, but I like it cause it makes me to work more on every frame, a lot more thinking and preparing, bigger satisfaction from results, if you know what I mean.

So my GAS moved from keyboards to lens now

I know what you mean about manual focus. It's really nice for the intentionality and preparation, as you said. I've almost always used vintage manual lenses, only recently getting an auto focus for faster moving subjects that really need some help to focus or I'd miss the moment. 

Hope you still hang on to a few keyboards so you can keep sharing amazing keyboard photos with us!

Yeah, around 100 shots, plus 1 year warranty from the retailer I bought from, so really good stuff!

Today two more things arrived.
One is new Leica M to Sony E mount adapter from TTartisan.



Second, new bag - Wotancraft Pilot 3.5L. Can't wait to go on a holiday trip and use these
