[WTB] Cherry stabilizers for plate mount
« on: Mon, 23 July 2012, 14:50:47 »
All I've found online are Costar stabilizers. Too bad EK doesn't sell parts for their Leopolds. I only need one pair but I might pick up some extra since they're hard to find it seems. Links or offers, please. :)

Mouser has 1x2 plate, and 1x8 PCB mount.
Filco w/ Imsto thick PBT
Ducky 1087XM PCB+Plate, w/ Matias "Quiet Click" spring-swapped w/ XM Greens

Thanks. I'm looking at the part numbers here:

http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Ne=254016&N=1323038+254115+4294959829

And matching them with the part numbers from Cherry:

http://www.cherrycorp.com/english/switches/key/mx.htm

What is the "with Frame" and "without Frame" referring to?

Excellent call, I bet you're right. They definitely have different designs for those, which is why I can't use the stabilizers from my Dolch. Cool, thanks for the help guys!

Hmm, nice tips, I will take a look at that too. I got my small ones but need the space bar one. They charge 20€ to Sweden, so if you feel like it, you could buy two for me. It would probably cost less than 20€ to send them in a letter. PM me if you are interested. Thanks

Unfortunately they don't seem to stock the 7x spacebar stabilizers and it's an MOQ of 360 at $1/ea. I salvaged the wire from the spacebars on a couple of old Wyse boards. The wire is a little longer than I need, but I've already successfully bent and trimmed one for another keyboard, so that's what I'm planning on doing with this one as well.

But I sold you a spacebar one along with the 6 small ones... If you don't have a spacebar that'll fit, just buy the universal one from EK as it's supposed to fit.

Sorry Gimpster but Damorgue cleaned me out of cherry platemount stabilizers. I just got PCB mount left.
Reaper "frelled" me... Twice... Did he "frell" you too?... *brohug*
I'm camping for a week, and moving twice in a month. I'll get back to you when I can (If I don't then just send me another PM).

That rat bastard! :) Nah, it's cool. I placed an order with Mouser, so as long as I read the part numbers correctly, then I think I've got what I need coming in the mail.
