Guys, the holes in the Vortex case don't go the whole way through, or there's no way I wouldn't haven't have returned it. Here's another picture of the top.

And none of you follow instructions very well. I asked for offers because I was too lazy to decide on a price for everything, and I woke up to like six pms asking how much I want for stuff. I guess I'm going to update the OP in a minute with prices and then let the people who pmed me know.

SmallFry, I had a filco MJ2 in it. Like I said, the fit wasn't great, so I didn't keep using it. It might help you finish your aluminum+ acrylic design?

Check out page 2 of this thread. The holes don't go all the way through, and are only on the underside of the top piece of the case. They are there to provide clearance for two screws that hold the PCB onto the bottom piece of the case.

Partially right. They don't go the whole way through, but they have no discernible purpose. There are no screws holding the PCB to the bottom of the case, the edges of the plate just sit on small shelves on the inside of the case. Ripsters posted some good pictures of it, if i can find them.

Mine came with 2 (3 actually) small screws with washers which fit into holes tapped into the bottom piece of the case, opposite where those holes in the top were milled. I suppouse they are intended to hold the PCB/plate down into the bottom part of the case, but the holes are tapped so shallow that the screws stick way out of them. I have them on there now, but I'm not sure what good they are doing.

Ok, the vortex case is now priced to move guys. Also, make me an offer for CCnG (but make sure you are acquainted with what is included, I don't want someone to be upset they didn't get something they thought they would). Still need springs, but I understand they are scarce atm.
