What is considered fair price for this key? The_Ed was selling it for nearly $30 and there seems to be demand at this price. I think it is pretty high, but that is solely my opinion(i.e. the current price is higher than my willingness to pay).

i modd Caplock and Spacebar for my Cherry DS set, Moogle kit replace by Black on RGBY. i think that 30$ for 1 center caplock keycap is too expensive. i was bought my White on Black Cherry DS keyset only 25$ .

The Cherry DS space bars I own have the center stem off-center.  They all came from Reptile's G80 group buy.

I don't think he has a 6.25unit spacebar since I saw his cherry set, it has 1x modifiers keys

That is what I thought. He must have gotten the DS caps from 1800 series. 0.25 unit difference is pretty huge and I think regular stock space bar should look better than x6 spacebar.

Those x1.25 modifiers are pretty hard to get, only reliable source being G80 POS keyboards. However, windows and context keys are not double shot and they look cheap compared to control and alt keys. Replacing them with SP keys kind of works, but difference in shape kind of bothers me.

I'm guessing half of that is probably for the Caps Lock, since they are rare...I just got an order from him (very quickly and well packed, might I add) and he offered me a full bottom set (modifiers and spacebar) for around $21, which I think that would be a fair price since they are new, original center-stemmed mods.  Pretty much the only way to get that full Caps Lock or center-stemmed mods is off a G80-8113 or G80-8200 as far as I'm aware.

As said, these have been on ebay regularly on 8113/8200H**US boards from $15 used some even with proper ansi to $100ish new (only ones up currently). I have gotten 4 of them on ebay with a $40 average price. Finding it's much rarer beige/grey/white counterpart is the *****, takes extreme luck and patience.

Yes, I see, but I saw some 1.25 mods with off-centered stems.

I think you have become confused with G81-8000. I have only ever seen one MX with off center stem besides the caps lock, and it was a typewriter I just got which is nonstandard anyway, so it doesn't really count. Anyhow, this is getting off topic as it's not helping KL get a capslock.

I THINK I found an old PM from before on GH. I don't sell long right shift separately anymore since I can't get rid of the rest of the main keys without it. 1 bottom row and 1 capslock sell well at $50 + shipping and paypal. I use $25 + shipping and paypal for a capslock to try to get people to order more stuff. The better pricebreaks come at large amounts (korean orders). I will be getting anywhere between 3 and 18 more POS boards soon. I don't know what switches or whether they are ANSI yet.

You know what? I'll sell JUST KL a capslock for $22 gift (you live in the contiguous 48 right?). I am in the NEGATIVE right now because I'm charging low prices for what the POS boards cost. To go positive I'll have to sell all the desoldered switches. So everyone saying that my prices are too high are sorely mistaken. I don't have very much price headroom. They are "vintage moogles" and as such cost more than SP replicas.

I don't quite agree with your pricing but I'm not going to get into it in this thread since it's so full of ThreadCrap as it is. However, I would never pay more than $6 shipped for a key like that. At a time you could get those full boards on ebay for less than $45 shipped.
