That's what it says. They probably result in a negative margin if they gave freebees on the cheaper items.

Mmm...that Ducky 1087 looks absolutely delicious! I might have to jump on it. Too bad they don't have the black on black available for it. Has anyone found a section that sells keycaps? Also, I noticed they are selling the ThermalTake Meka, looks pretty interesting.

I read someone asked about the Ducky quality/construction issue. From what I know, one issue is that the cherry stems they use can come in different shades. For example, there is a thread showing a Ducky with blue cherries, and the stems are mixed, both light and slightly darker blue cherries. The person mentioned that the board did not feel consistent due to this.

Hmmm. The tenkeyless versions of the filco brown and blue do not have chinese text on the keycaps am I correct? Or is that just a different picture. Cause 117 CAD + 20 dollar shipping is pretty good compared to the 130+30 shipping from EK. Risky but worth it if it works.

PC home has a very good reputation for service and returns in Taiwan.  They add a 30 day no question full refund on everything.  But international may put some difficulties there.  PC home is a fully established and real company, much like egg or ncix and much better than ebay.  I am glad that my suggestion about attracting overseas customer seems to have worked so well for you guys.

If it says English (use google translate or chrome to translate the page), not Chinese, then it will only have the English keys.

BTW I pulled the trigger on a Filco Brown 104-key NKRO. XD  Hope it gets here in good shape!

What kind of shipping do they include in the Promo? Did they give an estimate for how many days?

Also, on a side note, would I be able to replace Ducky keycaps with say...Filco keycaps, or any other Cherry caps?

Greetings and salutations.

Just an FYI for Ripster, your Tenkeyless Brown Cherry link in the OP is directed to the Cherry Blacks, not browns. Nearly bought one on impulse having heard there were shortages.

Additionally, there was speak of armygroup a few pages back. Any insight into shipping charges? I see nothing about cheap shipping promotions a la PChome.

Armygroup charges about the same. I ordered some blank key caps from them and the shipping was close to $20

@ laden3

Was the Custom Form filled with the actual cost of purchased or did they do a mark-down ?

I believe if they wish to be competitive, they can easily keep the shipping cost as present, the product is probably slightly marked-up with this intent, as the cost of product on Taobao is slightly cheaper.

I ordered yesterday with Paypal too, using their instant bank transfer instead of the credit card (since supposedly some people had to verify with that method).

I THINK mine is shipped?  Google translate says that it's last updated location is PChome Warehouse with Status shipping.  The Post # (tracking #?) they give me is something like EE_______TW.  Is that yours too, laden?  I thought the USPS shipping numbers were different.

Maybe it's just not in the system yet I guess, but it seems like PChome is pretty fast about sending out orders in case some of you were still on the fence.

actually they'll just make you pay at delivery or you can't get the package. only if there are some problems will the custom actually hold the package.

I guess I'm the only stupid one here being I tried but was unsuccessful in being able to order from either of these sites.  With the Army one I was able to register but couldn't order.  With the PCHome, I couldn't even register, as I couldn't get past the security check in typing in the numeric equivalent to the Chinese symbols.  I matched the symbols to their correct numbers, but it was still a no-go.

I had a picture (bitmap) of Chinese symbols, and I assumed I was supposed to type in the numeric equivalent (using numerals 0 - 9), which I did, but no matter how many times I tried, it was rejected.  If you were shown a picture of regular numerals, then for some reason I'm getting a different security screen than you.

It means they are in process of collecting it for you.

I just had a new Filco brown tenkeyless from them last week.
It included
- red ESC button, Filco button and WASD keys
- keypuller
- shiny "cleaning brush" thingy and cheap earphones which neither I asked for

I have to note that Army group is truly awesome shop as this is the second time they marked my shipment as "sample" and it passed the customs without need to pay for the taxes.
Too bad elitekeyboards didn't do the same :(

Uninstall is mentioning what usually happens in Canada. They'll show at your door and will get you to pay any custom fees before receiving the package. Is this the same in the U.S.? I'd like to make a purchase for a Filco but afraid of being dinged by customs. :(

I went through most of the placing an order bit, but the shipping was coming out to around $40 USD. Perhaps because I can't find an option for the zipcode?

Looking at getting a Tenkeyless Filco with Blues from PChome at the moment, though also having a little trouble making an account with them. Maybe I am just bad at using Google Chrome, who knows.
