Welcome to Canada!  He does ship nicely btw.  I've bought from him before.

Last Canadian Jibe before Monday!

The big problem is US->Canada.  The shipping on my last ebay purchase from Hong Kong was almost 1/10th the cost ($3.95) and arrived faster than the shipment I'm waiting on from Input Nirvana from California.  My last shipment from EK was almost $50 to get in < 7 days (there was a $30 option that would have taken up to 2 weeks).

It's been the same for a long time, I bought quite a bit of photo/video gear from Hong Kong and India and the shipping prices were super cheap and super fast (like international DHL that took 2-3 days at most for < $10).  The video gear from California the shipping was super expensive and slow - $35 for 7 days (which took more like 10) -- and I'm within a 20 minute drive of the major a hub (YYZ).  People in the boonies wait forever compared to me.

Fedex and UPS are cheaper and faster for shipping from california to Canada than USPS most times.  But one important thing, shipping Fedex or UPS ground to Canada sucks for the person receiving the item as they both tack on an extra $25 fee for brokerage coming across the border.  Use the expedited service (one up from the cheapest) which is usually $5-10 more but it saves the person receiving the item from $25 for clearance.  The expedited service has free brokerage.

It sucked when canada post went on strike, I had important equipment that I needed stuck for an additional 5 weeks sitting at the local post office and I couldn't pick it up :/

That blue alps has been there for months.

It's XT though, which is why it hasn't gone anywhere.

I wish adapting an XT keyboard to work over USB wasn't such a project, such a hassle... On the whole I think XT keyboards are more likely to have nice switches, probably due to their age. Blues like that are a good example. Another is the excellent light linear green alps found in some XT keyboards.

Hes a good seller, I have also bought from him and when I had a problem he fixed it. I was thinking about getting this for the switches, but then I figured they probably are exaggerated on how good they are compared to whites.

That's an odd position for the tilde and printscreen keys, too.
