Replacing a cherry black switch

So I recently attempted to clean my steelseries 6gv2 and during the cleaning process I noticed my M key was fairly sticky, I had removed a switch cap before so I thought hey I'll remove it, clean it out let it dry and put the cap back on. Big mistake apparently, as the cap broke and the middle section of the switch (piece that actually pushes down) has gone rogue and is missing. At this point the switch looks like it needs to be replaced however I've never replaced a switch, let alone a switch that's soldered in. Any advice? Location to purchase a replacement cherry black?

Desoldering cherry switches is rather simple and I used this video to learn how to do it:

I'm not sure how the 6gv2 is but for my leopold, the hardest part in removing the switch was popping it out with a screwdriver after the pins were desoldered.

As for the switch, I'm sure you can get one off classifieds from people that are throwing away their boards or got too much from group buys. If not, you can snag one from wasd:
