WTB: Black spacebar (cherry or SP profile)

I am in need of a black space bar (stem spacing for Filco keyboards).  The space bar has to be either cherry or sp profile (although cherry is preferred).  Let me know if you have any and we can work out a price or trade.

I would presume you have Cherry x6.25 space bar. You can easily mod it not having to destroy anything but a single key cap for stem.


Cut off one stem from a key cap
Put temp putty on it.
Put your Cherry space bar.

I modded mine last night (used a jig, sanded the inside of the space bar down, attached the spare stem via epoxy glue).  The space bar has a wierd tilt to it when I press very hard on the left hand side...almost like the white stabilzer bar insert on the left side of the space bar is getting pushed inside the space bar a little too far or like there is some play in the left stabilizer bar insert.  Eitherway, the modded one works perfectly fine...I just want one that is unmodded with proper stem spacing.

I don't know what profiles they are in. EK spacebar seems to be made by SP though.

Also, I don't think Cherry ever made center stemmed x6.25 space bar. Have they?

Edit: I take out my Moogle kit and compare with the EK's pic and I see that they are different. It is probably not SP spacebar.

No idea about the cherry spacebar.  Maybe someone has a spare SP black spacebar?  Those are pretty similar in profile to cherry spacebars.  EK spacebar=same profile as SP space bars?

They are quite different. SP spacebars have sharper front edge.

It is my guess, because of the shape and the texture. I think you can send them an email to verify.
