Bro, White can not be dye-sub. you want to tolk about Dolch keyset ?

my Thick PBT imsto's set  :p

White can easily be dyesub (It's one very popular Dyesub colour for novelty keycaps). He says he wants grey/black legends on white PBT. This should easily be possible, provided the MOQ of white PBT were available.

Though,
couldn't you make the entire keycap white and dyesub everything but the legend to black?
Or is that too silly?

This would only be possible with the "3D Dyesub" method imsto has posted about. There are none in production yes, as far as I know. (I brought up that very idea recently in the below topic)
http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=35255.0

Dyesubbing all the sides is a great idea, but it will likely be pretty expensive.

out of curiosity, are people mainly holding off because of color? price? both? anything else?

Me?  Because of this...

Folks,

It is very likely that Sheraton of keyboard story and myself will be organizing a GB for these caps. Please stay tuned!

Those blue ones are nice.  One other problem is that I already have more keycaps than keyboards...

Wow heliar, that looks amazing. I'm trying to outfit my QFR (browns) soon too. I've been interested in blank grays for a while but after seeing yours it really makes me have to re-think.. tough to think about dropping way more than the cost of the board just to get legends though..

Where's the RGB set from?

the RGB is from mbc's recent group buy. there are two previous RGB group buys with WHITE letter. all are made by Signature Plastics.  Borrow this picture from a korean owner to illustrate the situation.

Ah, I'd like to but I just can't.  I really like the look of the blue set, but it would probably also look good with grey mods.  ARG why so much monies?

You want this look, right?

I was in the same boat of wanting a set with blue/grey (blue mods).

They look really good, but I think the price is a little high for me for just the solid set. If I could do the blue/grey I would be interested (or if the price comes down).

I think a lot of people probably got a first look at these keycaps with the recent FMA group buy.  Just wanted to say I'm definitely more interested now than ever in the classic beige/gray/cream/white/whatever two-tone set and will buy one when they come around. <3<3<3

He usually just tells you to pay him and tell him what you want.

If you only want the grey with blue mods he can give you that as a set instead of buying both.

So, he can do a combination of grey and blue modifiers?  Are they the same price?
