So if you guys haven't figured out by now, I never showed up... I took a few laps around the block looking for a parking spot, couldn't find one. By this time, the place was totally mobbed, and I suddenly felt like I didn't want to be there (too many people) so I said "Screw you guys, I'm goin home!"  And I did.

Just for next time, let's have this someplace else... like not in the city.  After today I realized that I absolutely HATE the city and would very much like to avoid going there at all costs.

Hmm, took me 5 minutes to find parking... just gotta be willing to walk 1.5 blocks.

Damned tolls cost me more than lunch and the food was really quite nice.

Taking the train+sub would have cost me more on tix than I spent on tolls/gas.  Still would even if I paid for parking.

Haha yeah the restaurant is always like that on sundays, except maybe when there's bad weather. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the food! It's the least I could do, since I don't have anything remotely rare. Hopefully we get more people next year though!

You guys got bubble tea after I left?! I missed out, where did you guys go? :(

Boost, I got you a taro milk tea with boba. It was at that supermarket Fei Long? they have a few snack shops along the side, we ended up just going to that foodcourt for a little bit.

Gotta remember to check that out the next time I go there. The 1.5hr train ride scares me though, I have no idea how my dad does it 6 days a week.

The food was awesome, thanks for organizing it there Gunner. BTW were we actually paying full price or discounted? Because it was really cheap.

The bubble tea place was called TBaar. I got coffee bubble tea, which was delicious.

I have no idea if that was full price or discounted, i'd have to ask my dad about that. One reason why it wasn't expensive was because we didn't order anything other than dim sum.

I've had Dim Sum in Chinatown and let's just say the bill looked a little different. Probably paid about triple what I did today and that was some years ago too.

east harbor has good dimsum, is probably 10-20% more than some places in chinatown, but we're talking 1.50 per dish versus 1.75, east harbor also has valet parking righ the left of the restaurant, just pay the guy a dollar or 2, tho whenever i'm in nyc and friends want to do dim sum, i meet with them at 10am to avoid the mega zerg.
