Hello!
« on: Wed, 12 September 2012, 22:42:56 »
Hello Geekhackers!

I'm a mechanical keyboard lover from Hong Kong and have been lurking in this site for about half a year, looking for a place to talk and share stuff and to ask for help whenever needs arise. I bought my first mech keyboard in March this year (Race with red switch), and then went on to get Race w/ blue, RealForce 87U silent version, Pure w/ brown, and recently QuickFire Rapid w/ black.

I started to dig into mice recently as well, and have already got a G500 and a Savu, QcK mini, Hien Mid and Shiden-kai XSoft in a month-time. Before these, all I used were Logitech M505 and a stock HP mouse lol

Welcome to Geekhack!

Long time to lurk.

Nice collection :)  There is an "input devices" forum where you can discuss your mouses :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Where's your IBM Model M??

No collection is remotely complete until you have at least one!

I'm not looking for a complete collection  But if I can find a spacesaving Model M in good condition for a good price, I might go for it  :))
