Can I make a suggestion: For the last half hour, can bids not be accepted via PM? I can see it being kind of difficult keeping track of the front page and the last page, refreshing, trying to see whether someone has put a secret bid in.

I've been through a similar situation myself Glissant with regards to my grandfather in respects to helping my family tie up some loose ends financially. It was a bit tough at first but you will get through it especially with the help of this awesome community. In your post, you mention how your father steadily went from using a walker to walking with no assistance. I watched my grandfather move from wheelchair to walker and then to walking without assistance and it's moments like those that keep your head up and smile.
