KBC Poker dip switches question
« on: Tue, 25 September 2012, 17:53:57 »
I've had my Poker for a while now, but never used any of the dip switches. I also lost the piece of paper manual thing it came with. Can anyone tell me which switches do what, and if I can possibly switch the ESC key to be on by default and have to FN+Q for the tilde key?

Thanks

as far as your specific question, the answer is no.
DIP 3 is the only one i use - it swaps LWin and LAlt (good for Mac so you dont have to swap the keys in software)
DIP 1 turns LWin into a second fn.

can't remember the other 2

SW 4 ON: Lock left windows key
SW 3 ON: Windows_L, ALT_L swap position
SW 2 ON: Caps, Ctrl_L swap position
SW 1 ON: Windows_L becomes FN_L

The manual was incorrect anyway, it was all backwards... no options to do anything with the esc, besides turn on esc lock.

Ah, bummer that I can't switch it. I like to have a keycap on my esc key that is like the caps lock where you can see the led very well through it.. although it's kind of annoying having it on all the time cos I usually have my esc turned on while I'm using it. Thanks for the info
