Do Keycool keyboards have proprietary space bars?
« on: Fri, 28 September 2012, 20:17:01 »
I just bought a white keycool 87, And for some reason I get this feeling that I saw somewhere that the Keycool spacebar was just like the Leopold. I can't kind where I saw it.
Anyone know for sure?

Spacebar same as Leopold, but don't quote me.

It is, they stole Leo's design.  I think it's like the 500/700r

Aww damn. I wanted to throw my red alerts on it, and I'm sure the space bar on the keycool is gonna be a different shade. Thanks for the info though : )

Still look good. More retro-ish.

It's not so much the shade of white really, its the ugly logo they have on the space bar.

Spacebars are easily modable if you dont mind working with epoxy.

I'm not even sure how the space bar is different. I'm assuming just the stems for the stabilizers?

Need more of these.  Perhaps we should inquire if SP wants to copy what PLUM did so it can do Leo200/500/700, Costar OEM, Cherry, etc.
