Question to any Keycool 84 LED owners?
« on: Tue, 09 October 2012, 11:22:35 »
Howdy

Was thinking about purchasing a new keyboard and considering the Keycool 84 LED with MX reds, general impressions from owners would be appreciated, however I did have some specific questions and I have not found a lot of info about this keyboard. This is the item I was looking at: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Key-Cool-84-Back-light-Mechanical-Gaming-keyboard-Cherry-MX-switches-W-Blue-LED-/300767276724#ht_3023wt_1220.

Can anyone confirm if you can turn the LEDs off on this keyboard, I might not need them all the time. Also are there dip switches and can you turn off the Windows key?

Any help is much appreciated.

Judging by the pictures, you can turn off the LEDs simply by turning the brightness all the way down using the Fn key and the up/down arrows.  It works the same way for my TG3-BL82...

They LEDs are off on default. You can turn them on and raise and lower the levels by pressing FN arrow keys. The only LED's you cannot control are the CAPS, f12 (Winlock) Numlock, and Scroll Lock. These LEDs will also be of different colors.

Hey Sinzz!

Did you find any way to enable the LEDs by default? It sucks that you have to turn them on everytime you start your PC.
