[FS] New Dell Quietkeys RT7D5JTW's w/ adapter
« on: Thu, 11 October 2012, 08:33:26 »
I planned on using these at work, 1 for me one of the GF, but she doesn't like it, and I can't use non-gov't approved peripherals. :(

Asking $10 + shipping . each comes with a adapter that has 2x PS/2 Slots, into 1x USB.  Will post pics later tonight.  Thanks!

Those are very nice for rubber domes.

I keep a couple around for utility purposes.

that was my thought, but oh well.

Hell, they are so strict that if you accidentally plug in a thumb drive, you get a huge on screen warning and a message is sent all the way up the AF chain.  3 times and you get fired lol.

the man says so, lol.

I looked up the most recent regulations on USB devices, which is very lengthy, and it directly states devices that have not been approved cannot be used in the network.

plus, i tried a year ago with a ducky 1087xm, and they seemed weirded out by the brand and chinese letters (probabaly thought i was a N.Korean spy haha).  But oh well, my loss is someone elses gain?  Although they don't seem to be moving.  Is my pricing off?  I thought it was a bit below normal, maybe im wrong?

You can hardly give a keyboard away around here if it is not "special" that is - not mechanical !

I think that $10 is very low for a pristine original Quietkey, but I already have 2 in the basement that I don't use except in emergencies.

Give it to somebody with a really bad contemporary keyboard.

I'm planning to buy a new Quietkey. Can you let me know if the keyboard is still available?
